IGEM Review into Queensland's Disaster Management Arrangements
The Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) welcomes the Queensland's Disaster Management Arrangements 2023 Review Report 2: 2022–2023 published by the Inspector-General Emergency Management on 31 May 2023.
The report, its learnings and its recommendations reflect the Standard for Disaster Management in Queensland, identifying both good practice examples and opportunities for enhancement in Queensland’s disaster management arrangements.
There are a number of recommendations that will be implemented by the QRA. Planning for this implementation is underway.
