The Stronger Homes Grant Program allows flood-affected homeowners in North and Far North Queensland access to grants to help rebuild their homes for long-term flood resilience. Eligible homeowners can access grants of up to $10,000 for works such as raising essential services like electrical switchboards, hot water systems and air-conditioning, data and electrical points, and help protect parts of their homes from flood damage.
Funding acknowledgement
The Stronger Homes Grant program is a Queensland Government exceptional circumstances funding package approved through the Efficiencies Funding Program (EFP) which is funded by the Australian and State Government through efficiencies obtained during the delivery of Queensland’s Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) reconstruction program.
