Community Relief Fund - 2025 Tropical Cyclone Alfred
About
The $15 million Community Relief Fund is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments to support Queensland communities in their clean-up efforts from the Tropical Cyclone Alfred, commencing 1 March 2025 event.
The Community Relief Fund is available to impacted councils to undertake essential immediate recovery activities. Funding of up to $1 million per local government area is available.
The package provides timely and immediate support to impacted councils to remove waste and debris, clean-up properties, community facilities, playground and parks, and undertake other make safe activities as required by council to progress with local recovery.
