About the Queensland Resilience and Risk Reduction Fund 2023-24
The $14.7 million final round Queensland Resilience and Risk Reduction Fund (QRRRF) 2023-24 will strengthen community resilience by supporting 25 projects that will help communities mitigate and manage the risks associated with natural disasters across 14 local councils, 6 not-for-profit organisations, and 4 state agencies.
Funding acknowledgement
The $14.7 million QRRRF 2023-24 is jointly funded by the Queensland Government ($8.45 million) and the Australian Government ($6.25 million).
The QRRRF is part of the five-year National Partnership Agreement on Disaster Risk Reduction, which started in 2019-20.

Guidelines
Progress reporting and acquittal
- Monthly progress reporting by applicants is mandatory throughout project delivery. Progress reports are created and lodged through the MARS Portal. Refer to the MARS Portal user guide and forms for more information.
- To acquit your project (once completed) a close out submission needs to be lodged through the MARS Portal. When preparing your close out submission a final project report using the Word template provided below is required to completed and submitted.
